iGotTrip is a free reference tool for planning and sharing trip budgets. If you cannot agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Scope and eligibility
The service provides an account-free static web tool and editorial content for calculating, storing, sharing, and exporting trip budgets. You must be able to agree to these terms under applicable law; minors must have any required guardian permission. No feature is promised permanently in every region.
Estimates and sources
Budgets, exchange rates, itineraries, and guides are editable planning references—not live quotes, booking offers, financial advice, or guaranteed prices. Actual costs vary by date, season, exchange rate, availability, tax, fee, and personal choice. Verify current prices and terms with the supplier before paying. See the Methodology page for calculation methods and evidence.
Shared-link responsibility
A shared link contains the trip plan in its URL fragment and can be read by anyone who has it. You are responsible for reviewing the contents, choosing recipients, and excluding names, contact details, passport numbers, exact addresses, or other sensitive information. We cannot promise that a publicly disclosed link can be recalled.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing activity; transmit malicious code; bypass security; disrupt the service; send excessive automated requests; impersonate others; or violate another person's rights. Scraping that harms service stability, beyond ordinary public search indexing, is prohibited.
Intellectual property
Rights in iGotTrip's code, brand, design, and original editorial content belong to their respective rights holders. You retain rights in your trip-plan input and permit browser processing only as needed for sharing and export features. Third-party material identified by source remains subject to its provider's terms.
Third-party services and links
The site may use Cloudflare, Google Analytics 4, conditional Google AdSense and Google CMP (Privacy & Messaging), or link to external sites. Third parties operate under their own terms and policies; iGotTrip does not control or guarantee their availability, content, or outcomes. Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, provider changes, or business decisions. We may modify, add, or remove features, presets, content, and these terms. Material term changes may be identified by the updated date or an on-site notice. Continued use after a change may constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
Warranty disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. iGotTrip is not liable for budget differences, booking or travel decisions, data loss, disclosure of shared links, or indirect, special, or consequential damages. A limitation does not apply where applicable law does not permit it.
Stopping use
You may stop using the service and clear browser storage at any time. Access or features may be restricted for a terms violation, security risk, or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including disclaimers, liability limits, and intellectual-property terms—survive the end of use.
