Privacy Policy

Your trip budget stays in your browser by default, while separate technical data may be processed to deliver, measure, secure, and conditionally fund the site.
Publisher and contact
The publisher of iGotTrip manages this site's privacy practices. Send privacy requests to privacy@igottrip.com and general questions through the Contact page. We do not invent an undisclosed company name, address, or jurisdiction.
Browser storage
Your trip plan, memo, analytics choice, and explicit language choice are stored in localStorage on this device. A language selected in the footer uses the igottrip:language key with en or ko and remains on this device until you select another language or clear site storage. Root browser-language detection is transient and is not stored before an explicit footer choice. The first-party helper does not explicitly transmit that result, although GA4 may independently process browser language under the analytics disclosure and consent behavior below. There is no account or server database that stores your budget.
Shared links
When you share a plan, it is encoded in the URL fragment after #. Fragments are not normally sent in HTTP requests, but anyone receiving the link—and apps where it is pasted—can read its contents. Do not enter names, email addresses, passport numbers, exact addresses, or other sensitive data.
Hosting and operational logs
Cloudflare Pages/CDN delivers and protects the site. Cloudflare may process request metadata such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, and security events in operational logs. The trip-plan URL fragment is not part of that HTTP request. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4
The Google tag (gtag.js) loads on every page using Advanced Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage signals set to denied by default. Google may receive cookieless measurement pings before you make a choice. Allowing analytics changes only analytics_storage to granted, which may enable analytics cookies and fuller measurement. iGotTrip's own code never grants advertising consent signals.
Conditional AdSense and Google CMP
In the current pre-review mode, iGotTrip loads the Google AdSense review bootstrap in the document head after advertising consent defaults are denied. Google CMP and ad inventory are not enabled. The bootstrap may make technical requests needed for account and site review, while advertising storage signals remain denied. Full advertising processing can begin only if both features are enabled together after approval, and then only on explicitly eligible content pages.
Identifiers that may be processed
Site delivery and analytics may process IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referrer, time, analytics client or session identifiers, and consent state. Conditional AdSense activation may add advertising cookies, web beacons, and advertising identifiers. The trip-budget URL fragment is designed to be excluded from analytics page URLs.
Purposes and providers
Data is used to deliver the site, retain settings, measure use, secure the service, prevent abuse, improve errors, and conditionally serve advertising. Key external providers are Cloudflare and Google (Google Analytics, plus conditional Google AdSense and Google CMP). Learn how Google uses information from partner sites and read the Google Privacy Policy.
Retention
Local trip plans, analytics choices, and the igottrip:language language choice remain on this device until you clear site storage or replace the relevant value. Measurement and operational data processed by Google and Cloudflare follow each provider's settings, agreements, and retention policies. iGotTrip does not promise a different external retention period.
Choices and rights
In pre-review mode, use Privacy choices in the footer to allow, reject, or later withdraw analytics. In post-approval mode it reopens Google CMP on an eligible page; from an ad-free page it safely hands off to the same-language home before opening Google's European revocation choices. Change the display language through the footer's explicit language choice. Clearing site storage deletes the saved igottrip:language value, so the next root visit may detect browser language transiently again without storing it. You can also clear cookies or use browser tracking controls. Send applicable access or deletion requests to the privacy email. See the Cookie Policy for storage details.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 and has no account feature intended to collect children's personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child's information appears in a shared link can contact the privacy address.
International processing
Google and Cloudflare may process information outside your country. Their policies describe transfer mechanisms and safeguards used where applicable.
Security
We use HTTPS, a limited static architecture, and browser-first storage to reduce data transmission. No internet service or shared link can guarantee absolute security, so keep sensitive information out of shared budgets.
Changes and contact
We update this policy and its date when features, providers, or legal requirements change, and may provide an on-site notice for material changes. Send questions or requests to privacy@igottrip.com.
